¡Adiós, Georgetown!

I'm waiting for my dad to come pick me up. It's such a beautiful, warm, sunny morning. I can't believe Christmas is only a week away. Maybe global warming isn't such a bad thing, after all. It doesn't really matter how cold it gets, because I'll be going somewhere where it's summer in a month and a half.

End of the Semester/Fin del Semestre

I can't believe the end of the semester is already here! This week has been ridiculously busy and I haven't got a lot of sleep, and I'm still not done with everything. This weekend I still have to finish a write-up and a take-home final for Phonology, pack up all my wordly possessions, and say goodbye to everybody. I might never see some of these people again because they will have graduated by the time I come back to Georgetown.

I decided to start this blog because I figured it would be less time-consuming and more interesting for everyone in the long run than a mass e-mail sent out once a fortnight. With the blog I can comment on little things that happen one day and are forgotten the next. I just hope I have the time to keep it up-to-date!
